Multipurpose Battalion Commander Lt.Col. Adrian MELEGA promoted 1Lt.  Roman HALAS to the Captain rank. Cpt. HALAS is leaving battalion and he is serving at the Headquarters of the Training and Support Forces in Trencin from 1. January 2012. He has performed different duties in the garrison Hlohovec for 9 years. He had many experiences with exercises in the area of the Slovak Republic and in the international crisis management during his service at the area of the former Yugoslavia /1993/ and during the Operation ALTHEA in Bosnia and Herzegovina /2010/ as well. Lt.Col. MELEGA expressed satisfaction for his service and wished him a lot of success in his future carrier. Capt. HALAS awarded by the commemorative certificate said, he will never forget, that he remain member of the „phoenix family“ forever.
